When a document is assigned to a line, specifically once a document is drag-and-dropped onto a line, a green button appears next to the red X with the document inside the line box. This green button is the Remember Document button for the Smart Document Function. Smart Document Function will associate this document with this line information. Whenever the system is asked to suggest a document for a line with this exact description and folder it will automatically suggest only this document.
This function is useful if a particular line is added frequently, and despite a range of document possibilities, it is for your particular office and use always one specific document. Smart Document will remember which document you use every time and save the time of selecting from a range of documents.
Selecting Smart Document will overwrite any previous Smart Document you have assigned to this line information. If you assign a different document to a line that has a previously remembered document and select the Remember Document button, it will replace the memory of the old document with the newly assigned one.
If the Smart Document brought back the document you have assigned and you want to view the range of documents the normal suggest feature would have brought, or to remove the Smart Document memory for a particular line, simply select the "Remove from Smart Document memory" line highlighted in yellow located in the documents window.
